Since 1995, BWN has been part of the DORMA Worldwide Group, a prestigious international Door Hardware and Access Control Manufacturer which was originally founded in Ennepetal, Germany in 1908. Internationally, DORMA is widely regarded for its technical brilliance and reputation for quality products, excellent customer service and technical back up. Including DORMA’s Australian operations, DORMA has a growing list of manufacturing plants throughout the world.

In 2001 DORMA acquired Horizon Auto Doors and Security Systems Ltd NZ and are proud of the people, business and expansion throughout New Zealand. The DORMA BWN relationship has been a richly rewarding one, benefiting from substantial technology transfer, enhanced manufacturing standards and many quality innovations that have taken the company far beyond its simple beginnings.
  
Today, we are a thriving company employing approximately 300 people throughout Australia and New Zealand who are committed to providing excellence in service while continuing to develop and improve an already extensive product range. Over recent years, we’ve continued to grow through acquisitions and business development throughout the Australasian region.
